What is it?

This course provides a one-day overview of the requirements of BS 8888.  The course includes a review of good practice for technical product specification, as well as covering the key concepts and requirements of BS 8888:

  • Format and presentation requirements.
  • Working with 2D and 3D data.
  • The principles of product definition

Topics such as geometrical tolerancing and surface texture requirements are covered in very general terms – specific courses are available for those who need a more detailed understanding of these topics.
